(PR-) Green rockers RADIOHEAD have ruled out performing at the Glastonbury Festival in Britain this year (08) because poor public transport to the event is bad for the environment.
Frontman Thom Yorke is concerned that most people attending the event, which takes place in England's rural south-west in June (08), drive there 'with one or two people in a car'.
And Yorke claims such a transport situation is 'an ecological disaster'.
In an article published by British newspaper The Sun, he writes, '(We're doing) everything we can to minimise our impact on the environment...
'What we're trying to do now is only play in areas .....
