The news broke yesterday that the actor is suffering from cancer.
While PATRICK SWAYZE fights his battle with cancer, his rep told us yesterday that the 55-year-old actor "is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects," but OK! magazine is reporting that he dropped out of a film for unknown reasons.
OK! reported Thursday that Swayze dropped out of 'Fired Up!' "three weeks to a month ago," according to a rep for a producer on the film, and that actor JOHN MICHAEL HIGGINS had replaced him in the role of a gay cheerleading instructor.
The Associated Press reported Wednesday that, according to his publicist, Swayze filmed a A&E pilot called "The Beast" last year and hopes to continue working on it if it gets picked up for more episodes....
