DAVID GILMOUR has paid a musical tribute to his former PINK FLOYD bandmate RICHARD WRIGHT, who died after a short battle with cancer last week (15. Sep08) at the age of 65.
Gilmour performed a rendition of 1968 album track Remember A Day to honour his late bandmate at a U.. K. TV recording.
And Gilmour had nothing but fond memories of his bandmate in an interview for BBC music show Later... With Jools Holland, which is set to air in the U.. K. on Friday (26. Sep08).
He says, 'He created a sound that glued the whole Pink Floyd thing together.
He was just a very self-effacing .....
