| Gallen Lo (ù ¹Å ¨}) began his career in showbiz in 1984. His career wasn't very successful during his early years. He released a couple of CDs but they weren't very popular and his acting didn't garner any acclaim. But that didn't stop Gallen from continuing in showbiz. He filmed many TVB series afterwards and his acting skills really improved. In 1996, after filming "Ãø ¥S Ãø §Ì - Old Time Buddy," he became very popular. His role as "§õ ©_ - Lee Kei" had everyone laughing and praising his great acting. |

Gallen Lo Ka Leung (Chinese: 羅嘉良; Cantonese Romanization: Lo Ka Leung; born December 16, 1962), sometimes credited as Gallen Law or Ka Leung Law is a Hong Kong actor who primarily acts in television series.
Lo started acting in television series in 1983 at ATV. He received moderate fame but was not really successful, and later switched to working for TVB after joining the New Talent Singing Awards in 1984. Finally in 1996, he become popular for the role of Xu Jia Li in the drama Cold Blood Warm Heart. In 1997, he was casted as the leading role of Lee Kee in the successful TV series Old Time Buddy, which spawned a sequel and a spin-off movie, all which Lo participated in. He continued to star in successful serials like Mr. Diana (1999), At the Threshold of an Era (1999) and Golden Faith (2002). After 2003's The W Files, Gallen left TVB and started to focus on acting and making commercials in mainland China. He gained tremendous recognition in China since then. He is the only actor that have won 3 times TVB best actor award.
In recent news as of June 2007, Gallen Lo is reportedly returning to TVB after almost 4 years absent from the studio. He'll make a serial with TVB contracted artist Myolie Wu which will likely be out next year. The series is called When A Dog Falls In Love With a Cat, unconfirmed. Gallen owes 10 more episodes for TVB and will discuss about the 10 extra episodes further on. |
