Full Aria Giovanni Biography
Born in California on November 3, 1977, Italian princess Aria Giovanni already had an underground following with her brief stint in amatuer work, a decision fueled by her needs to pay tuition bills at UCSD, where she was majoring in biochemistry.
When Aimee Sweet came across Aria, she immediately saw her potential and sent her to Suze Randall for polaroids. After a few warm up sets that got Aria comfortable with real glamour photography, Suze shot her centerfold for Penthouse magazine. Bob Guicionne also recognized her star quality and the Penthouse offices went into an uproar-- a custom made Harley Davidson motorcycle was already halfway across the country to be photographed with Bob's first choice for anniversary Penthouse Pet, but the minute he saw Aria's pictures the bike was promptly turned around to make it's way back to California.
Beyond her super sex star status, Aria is a down to earth homebody who loves to just have a glass of wine and curl up with a book, such as her favorite, Les Miserables. She loves to cook, and is especially fond of Italian food, red wine and port, as well as her favorite dessert, creme brulee. |

Aria Giovanni (born on November 3, 1977) is a nude model and actress who was Penthouse Pet for the month of September 2000.
Giovanni was born in Long Beach, California; her father was Italian-Yugoslavian, her mother French-German-Irish-West Indian. About her early life, Aria has recounted she was quite shy, with only one friend in high school, but that she did very well in her classes. According to her website, she did so well that she was able to graduate and head to college by the age of 16. Part of the reason for that was that she entered rehab at age 12 for drug and alcohol problems and stayed there for 26 months. During her second year in rehab she was able to start taking high school classes and was able to take two years worth of classes during that time. When she did leave to go to a regular high school, it was for her junior year.
In 2000, Aimee Sweet introduced Giovanni to glamour photographer Suze Randall, who in late May of that year shot photos of Giovanni which appeared in the September issue of Penthouse magazine. At the same time, she also appeared on the web site Bomis, posing clothed for a Ferrari giveaway contest.
Around the same time that she shot the Penthouse photos, she transferred to University of California, San Diego as a junior transfer student intending to major in biochemistry and minor in English writing. However, she opted not to attend as she felt that the workload would not leave time for modelling; "I knew I could always come back to school, but I probably couldn't come back to modeling."
In 2001, she played Monica Snatch in the movie Survivors Exposed, a parody of the Survivor television series. She also appeared on the TV dating show Shipmates (Episode dated 16 November 2001).
Giovanni has appeared in bondage, fetish, amateur, glamour and artistic photography. She has gained particular respect for being among relatively few large-chested models working in the field who have not undergone cosmetic surgery. |
