Full Mageina Tovah Biography

Mageina Tovah (born Mageina Begtrup on July 26th, 1979) in Honolulu, Hawaii is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Glynis Figliola on the television series Joan of Arcadia. Her other credits include guest roles on TV's The Shield, Cold Case, Crossing Jordan and Private Practice. Mageina also made a memorable appearance in the Jonas Åkerlund-directed music video for Christina Aguilera's hit song "Beautiful".

Tovah was born in Hawaii, where her father was a US Army psychiatrist in the Green Berets, and Army physical therapist mother. Her family later settled on in Clarksville, Tennessee and then to Nashville. She graduated from high school and attended both Cal Tech and then USC. She moved to New York and Los Angeles.

In 2007 Mageina reprised the character of Ursula in Spider-Man 3, a pretty but clumsy girl who began her crush on Peter Parker in the previous film Spider-Man 2.
