Full Bojana Novakovic Biography
Novakovic moved from Yugoslavia with her parents to Australia when she was seven-years-old. She speaks fluent Serbian/Croatian, and because of this, she works as a professional translator for theatre and film in between acting commitments.
Her love for acting started at age twelve, when she appeared in her first play. At age fifteen, she was cast in her first film.
Her film credits include Blackrock, Strange Fits of Passion, Solo, The Monkey's Mask, "Thunderstruck" and the Serbian language film "Optimisti". Some of her many theatre credits are "Criminology", "Eldorado", "The Female of The pecies", Death Variations, Loveplay, Away and Romeo and Juliet, and her television credits include "Satisfaction", The Cooks, Wildside, Water Rats, Heartbreak High and Murder Call.Novakovic as Randa with co-star Abe Forsythe in Marking Time
In 2003 Novakovic played Randa in the ABC mini-series Marking Time, a role which won her an AFI Award for Best Actress in a leading role in a Television Drama or Comedy. |
