Gretchen Egolf (born 1973, Lancaster, Pennsylvania) is a TV and film actress. She starred as Katie Vasser, the wife of main character Dan Vasser, on the TV series Journeyman until its cancellation by NBC in December 2007.

Gretchen Egolf grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she began acting in theatre as a child. After high school, she attended the Juilliard School for drama in New York and has been living and working in New York and Los Angeles ever since. Aside from her numerous Broadway, off-Broadway, West End, and regional theatre credits, Gretchen was a series regular on "Martial Law" (CBS), played the recurring character of "Vanessa Whitaker," in "Roswell" (WB), and appeared as Jackie's wife in "Gleason" (CBS movie), starring opposite Brad Garrett. She has guest starred on numerous shows: "Law & Order," "Without a Trace," "Century City," "Nero Wolfe," "Cosby," "The Naked Brothers Band," and "Cracker." She has also played series regular roles in the pilots "Leap of Faith," "The Corsairs," and "Journeyman."

Gretchen's film experience has been varied and includes roles in Mira Nair's "The Namesake," Anthony Minghella's "The Talented Mr. Ripley," and Robert Redford's "Quiz Show," as well as the independent films "Social Grace" and "Nicolas." She currently lives in New York City.

She is married to Welsh actor, Mason Phillips. Her brother, Tristan Egolf wrote, "Lord of the Barnyard"
