Full Jenny Mollen Biography
Jenny Ann Mollen (born May 30, 1979) in Phoenix, Arizona is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Nina Ash on the television series Angel.
Jenny Mollen was born in Phoenix, Arizona to a family of doctors. Her work in local theater led to experiences with The Old Globe in San Diego, California, The Idywild School, and the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. Mollen attended UCLA's School of theater, film, and television and while there earned immediate industry attention for a one woman show she both wrote and produced entitled "Not A Pretty Girl". After three years of schooling, Mollen graduated. She then traveled abroad in Paris, France and Heidelberg, Germany for studies. She is fluent in both French and German.
In addition to acting, she is an accomplished painter who has exhibited and sold artwork in New York, Arizona, San Diego, Los Angeles and London.
She co-wrote the song Perfect World with her sister Samantha. The song was used in the Lifetime movie Girl, Positive. She also owns a poodle named Mr. John W. Teets.
Mollen lived with writer/producer Drew Goddard (Cloverfield, Lost, Buffy, Angel, Alias) for four years. In January 2008, it was reported that she had become engaged to actor Jason Biggs. |
