Full Kimberly Fisher Biography
Kimberly Kay Fisher (born February 10, 1978) is an American model, actress, and spokesperson. She is best known for her many appearances in calendars, advertisements, and events, and her increasing exposure as an actress television and movie roles.
Kimberly was born on a cold day in February in Roy, Utah to a Chinese/Vietnamese mother and an English/American Indian father. After a brief period in Germany, her family settled in Anchorage, Alaska where she grew up. While in Alaska, Kimberly enjoyed the great outdoors by camping, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, ice skating, and playing ice hockey, all with her Samoyed Husky, Buddy. Besides Buddy, she grew up with a variety of other pets including fish, a parakeet, a turtle, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a rabbit.
In high school, Kimberly attended East Anchorage High School where she was involved in cheerleading, dance, Key Club, Z-Club, Anchorage Youth Court, and community service, as well as being a beauty queen title holder. During this period, she began modeling part time. She graduated high school early with a 3.5 GPA and substituted college classes for her last semester. She eventually left Alaska for warmer grounds and settled in Las Vegas, Nevada where she attended UNLV and double majored in psychology and criminal justice.
She retired from beauty pageants in 2002 with 6 crowns and titles and over 50 awards and trophies, and found herself traveling to Los Angeles, California more and more frequently. She finally moved to LA in February 2000 where she currently works as a model, actress, and spokesperson. She has studied acting with Robert Carnigie.
She is a fan of horror movies and roses. She enjoys vacationing in tropical locations, driving expensive cars, spending time with friends, and living an active lifestyle.
Kimberly has appeared as a model in a number of magazines, calendars, and other media. Among these, she has been featured in Street Customs, Muscle Mustangs, Petite Magazine, Hot Boat, and ESM magazines; Erebuni Aerodynamics, Lingerie Dreams, and College Girls of Las Vegas calendars; and promotional material for Erebuni, Ujena, Lydken Creations, and Sound Source Entertainment. Kimberly has also done bondage/fetish modeling under the name of Mia Chen at Imago Studios and has done some topless and nude modeling.
Once she relocated to Los Angeles, Kimberly began the acting phase of her career. She has appeared on a number of television shows including Strip Mall, The X Show, Soul Train, Rock Across America, ESPN's X Games, Days of Our Livesand The Man Show. She has hosted shows including On the Scene Video Magazine, Sundance 2001 Unplugged, 2002 Diversity Awards, and Miss Virtual Reality.
Her stage debut came in May 2002 when she starred as Neural Matthews in The Hollywood Dream. She has also appeared in a number of films including One Last Adventure, Madame Hollywood and Party Animalz, and has held leading roles in movies including Messed in the Head and Zombie Farm.
Kimberly has also appeared a model/actress/dancer in a number of music videos, for artists including Eve, Billy Idol, India Arie, Depeche Mode, NSync, Destiny's Child and Irv Gotti. |
