Full Tiffani Thiessen Biography
Tiffani-Amber Thiessen rose to fan-magazine fame for her portrayal of Kelly Kapowski on the teen-soap "Saved by the Bell" (1989). Two years before she landed the job, she won Miss Junior America, after a childhood of competing in several pageants.
Born to Frank, a park designer, and to Robyn, a homemaker, on January 24, 1974. Tiffani got her start in acting at an early age, and even earlier she modeled her way through the country. After hitting it big with her Miss Junior America accomplishment, she turned to acting.
'Saved by the Bell' lasted 4 years, but after portraying a squeaky teen, Tiffani was looking for a different character. In 1994 a new Tiffani, including a different look (shorter hairstyle, breast implants) went on to play Valerie Malone on the hit teen-drama "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990). Instead of playing a wholesome teen, she played a blackmailing, coniving vixen, who ended up sleeping with every male on the show, and becoming rivals with every female. During this time, she went through a slew of television movies, and also a small role alongside Pauly Shore in the comedy Son in Law (1993). Trying her utmost to surpass her former role as wholesome Kelly Kapowski, Tiffani posed nude several times in both 'Veronica' and 'New Look' magazines'.
In 1998 she left her role on '90210', to pursue a career in movies. Speedway Junky (1999) and Love Stinks (1999) both independent, followed. A small break from films came in late 1999, when her boyfriend David Strickland committed suicide. His body was found in a Las Vegas motel room hanging from a bed sheet. In 2000 she tried her comedy side out, starring in both _Ladies Man, The (2000)_ and _Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th (2000). |

Her first big break in show business was her role on the television program Saved By The Bell, as nice girl Kelly Kapowski, a role she continued playing in the short lived Saved by the Bell: The College Years. She later starred in the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl and the short-lived action show Fastlane, as well as guest-starring on Just Shoot Me!. Tiffani Thiessen Quote(s)
| I was literally in underwear for the first three years of '90210'. I finally had to go to the producers and say, 'Look, I'm here to do a job, not to be naked the entire time. |
