Bridie Carter was born and grew up in Melbourne with two younger brothers. Bridie graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1994.
Bridie soon became a contestant on the seventh season of the hit Australian version of Dancing With The Stars which premiered on the 25 September 2007.
