In 2006, she was nominated for TV Week Logie Awards in the Gold category for Most Popular Personality on TV, and Silver Category for Most Popular Actress and Most Outstanding Actress.

Bridie Carter was born and grew up in Melbourne with two younger brothers. Bridie graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 1994.

Bridie soon became a contestant on the seventh season of the hit Australian version of Dancing With The Stars which premiered on the 25 September 2007.

In 2006, she was nominted at the Logies in three different catergories - the Gold Logie, the Most Popular Actress and Most Outstanding Actress.
