In 2003, she joined the cast of the NBC soap opera Passions as the third actress to portray the role of Jessica Bennett. Stewart, a natural blonde, dyed her hair black for her role on Passions.
As a blonde, she briefly played Maxie Jones on the ABC soap opera General Hospital in 2002. She was meant to be playing the role of Roxanne "Rocky" Briggs in a WB pilot called "Home of the Brave". The pilot didn't make it through and the show about a military man and his returning to his four children was never aired.
She was born to John and Donna Stewart. She was a cheerleader at high school and acted once a month. She graduated in 2001 from Southridge High School in Kennewick, Washington.
