Full Debra Jo Fondren Biography
Debra Jo Fondren (b. 1955-02-05) is an American model and actress. She was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the September 1977 issue and Playmate of the Year for 1978. Her original pictorial was photographed by Robert Scott Hooper, who discovered her having lunch at the Desert Inn Hotel on her first trip to Las Vegas. She was a waitress at the restaurant "Gallaghers" in Beaumont, Texas when she was "discovered" for Playboy.
A favorite of many photographers thanks to her spectacular long blonde hair, which fell past her knees, and Debra Jo enjoyed a small measure of success in Hollywood, with small guest star roles on a number of TV series, such as Mork & Mindy and Fantasy Island.
Today, Debra Jo no longer participates in Playboy promotions because they place "too much emphasis on sex." In 2004, citing personal and financial reasons, Debra Jo shut down her personal website.
Debra Jo's current profession is caring for celebrities recovering from breast implants, collagen injections, and other plastic surgery. |
