Full Jerry Hall Biography
Jerry Faye Hall (born July 2, 1956 in Gonzales, Texas) is an American supermodel and actress known for being Mick Jagger's long-time companion and common law wife.
Hall's autobiography, entitled Jerry Hall's Tall Tales, was published in 1985. In this book, she describes her early life in Mesquite, Texas, where she graduated from North Mesquite High School. She also relates her experiences as a young model living in Paris.
In 1990, Hall was "married" to Mick Jagger in an unofficial Balinese ceremony. Hall began a secret affair with Jagger while still engaged to Bryan Ferry. Her common law marriage to Jagger ended in 1999. They have four children together: Elizabeth, James, Georgia, and Gabriel.
In 1989, she appeared in director Tim Burton's Batman, in a supporting role as Alicia Grissom, a gangster's moll who is disfigured by the Joker. In 1990 she joined many other guests for Roger Waters' massive performance of The Wall in Berlin. She also starred in commercials for Bovril.
In 2005, Hall starred in a new reality series on VH1 called Kept, revolving around her search for a "boy toy". The 12 American contestants were asked to transform from boys to refined gentlemen through a series of challenges, and mastering skills like arts, sports, cooking, and fitting into high society. According to an interview with the winner, he never saw Jerry again and there was no sexual intimacy between Jerry and the kept men, unlike typical kept men relationships.
Also in 2005, she appeared on the West End stage playing Mother Lord in the London revival of Cole Porter's High Society, and provided the voice for Sister Penelope in the controversial British cartoon Popetown.
She is now the Global Ambassador for Levitra, a treatment for erectile dysfunction, manufactured by Bayer Healthcare. She is touring the world as part of Levitra's campaign to encourage women to 'Strike up a Conversation' with their partner to start discussion and ultimately treat erectile dysfunction. |
