Turner has been nominated for numerous awards, notably the National Television Award for best newcomer, in 2005 (for which she was beaten by Coronation Street star Antony Cotton). Turner did win the TV Quick & TV Choice 2005 best newcomer and in 2006, she was nominated for best actress in the British Soap Awards along with close friend Jessie Wallace. She also joined Louisa Lytton in nominations for sexiest actress 2006, however, Lytton won this award. She won the 'Best Actress' award at the British Soap Awards in May 2006. Also during 2006, won the Mental Health Media Award, for the storyline between Stacey and her mum's mental illness.
During September 2006, Turner won two Inside Soap Awards for Best Actress and for Best Couple which she shared with Charlie Clements.
In September 2007, Turner again won the awards for Best Actress and Best Couple with Charlie Clements at the Inside Soap Awards.
