Full Catalin Munteanu Biography

Cătălin Munteanu (born January 26, 1979 in Bucharest) is a Romanian football player, part of the Dinamo Bucharest squad.

Munteanu started to play football at Steaua Bucharest, where he was one of the most talented players. In March 1997, aged 18, he made his first team debut in a Divizia A game against Rapid Bucharest.

In 1998 he is bought by the Spanish club UD Salamanca, where he plays until 2001 when is bought by Atlético Madrid but loaned to Espanyol Barcelona and then Albacete.

In 2006, while free-agent, is signed by Dinamo Bucharest. In meantime he also played for Real Murcia.
