Philipp Kohlschreiber (born October 16, 1983 in Augsburg) is a tennis player from Germany, who turned professional in 2001. The righthander won one doubles title (2005, Vietnam Open in Ho Chi Minh City) so far. He reached his highest singles ATP-ranking on June 18, 2007, when he became the number 28 of the world.
He achieved his greatest result at a Masters event during the 2007 Monte Carlo Masters event, when he reached the quarterfinals after going through qualifying, defeating then-world #12 David Nalbandian in the 2nd round due to a late retirement in the 2nd set. He won his first career title at Munich, becoming the first German player to win the event since Michael Stich in 1994.
