Vivica A. Fox has the enviable position of having a successful career in film, as well as, television. She most recently appeared in Juwanna Mann (Morgan Creek). Vivica's co-stars in this basketball comedy, along with Kevin Pollack, Miguel Nunez, Tommy Davidson, and Kim Wayans. Preceding that, Vivica headlined the hit comedy film. Two Can Play That Game (Sony/Screen Gems), in which Vivica and Morris Chestnut participate in a battle of the sexes. She costarred in Kingdom Come (Fox Searchlight) with an ensemble cast featuring Whoopi Goldberg, LL Cool J, and Jada Pinkett Smith. This dramedy tells the story of a family that gathers to bury their father and the events that ensue.
Coming out next for the fabulous Fox is the romantic comedy Boat Trip starring Academy Award winner, Cuba Gooding, Jr. That film will be followed by Quentin Tarantino's 5th film, Kill Bill also starring Uma Thurman, Darryl Hannah, Lucy Liu and David Carradine. Fox plays a female assassin in this action thriller. Fox's other feature films include: Independence Day, Set It Off, Soul Food, Batman and Robin, Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Double Take, Teaching Mrs. Tingle and Idle Hands.
Vivica has received MTV Movie and NAACP Image award nominations for her past performances. She and Will Smith won the MTV movie award for Best On Screen Kiss for Independence Day. Fox was discovered while having lunch on Sunset Boulevard. The rest, as they say, is Hollywood history. |

Fox is a graduate of Arlington High School in Indianapolis, Indiana and Golden West College with an Associate Art degree in Social Sciences.
In December 1998, she married singer Christopher Harvest (aka Sixx-Nine) whom she later divorced in June 2002.
Fox's relationship with the rapper 50 Cent earned her playful nods from Missy Elliott in her song "I'm Really Hot", The Game in "Dreams", and from 50 Cent himself in "Get In My Car". She was also mentioned in Game's diss song 300 Bars and Runnin' which dissed 50 Cent.
Fox also played roles in Idle Hands, Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Two Can Play That Game and Juwanna Mann before landing the role of assassin Vernita Green in the 2003 Quentin Tarantino vehicle, Kill Bill. Fox has also tried her hand at voice acting, providing her voice for roles in the television cartoons Ozzy & Drix and Kim Possible.
In 2004, Fox was in an episode of Punk'd where her pregnant friend Tichina Arnold pretended to go into labor, but they became angry when a paramedic appeared to care more about taking pictures than delivering the baby.
From 04-06 Fox starred in the drama series, Missing on the Lifetime Television Network with Caterina Scorsone and Mark Consuelos. She was also the show's co-producer.
Fox participated in the third season of ABC's hit television show, Dancing with the Stars, she was voted off after the fourth week.
On March 20, 2007 Vivica was arrested for DUI/. At 10:57 PM on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley, Vivica reportedly passed a marked police car while going 80 mph. She was taken to Van Nuys jail where she submitted to two breathalyzer tests which were over the 0.08 legal limit according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) spokesman Leland Tang.
Vivica is set to star in an upcoming movie about the rise and fall and rise of Grammy Award-Winning pop music superstar Whitney Houston. In September 2007 Fox starred in the sixth season of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm as a mother of a family displaced by a hurricane and taken in by Larry and Cheryl. She recently made a play called Whatever She Wants.
