More recently he has starred in the sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, and Sky One's The Match. Little has also appeared in films, including 24 Hour Party People and Al's Lads. Little is currently signed to play football for non-league side Chertsey Town but work commitments makes his appearances less than regular.
Although from Oldham, Greater Manchester) , his footballing allegiance is to Bury FC. When the club was in financial trouble a few years ago Little lent his support, and could be seen shaking a bucket for donations outside the ground.
In August 2007 he released his first on line novel (co written with Stephen Morris), The Golden Generation, a coming of age tale about a recently single man who is taken under the wings of two city traders who show him the trappings of big money in the big city but that it comes at a price. Monies taken from the sale of the novel went to the charity Shelter.
On the 19th September 2007 Little announced during an interview on This Morning that he would not be returning for the next series of Two Pints... due to an overwhelming schedule.
