Full Dey Young Biography
Dey Young (born July 28th, 1955) is an American actress. Among her credits is the part of Kate Rambeau in Rock 'n' Roll High School, a character she re-visited in the 1994 film, Shake, Rattle and Rock! as Kate Rambeau, Sr which was directed by Rock 'N' High School's Allan Arkush. She has also done several guest turns on Star Trek, including Hannah Bates, on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode The Masterpiece Society, Arissa on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Keyla, on the Star Trek: Enterprise episode Two Days and Two Nights.
Young was born in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, the daughter of Pauline, a sociologist, and Donald E. Young. Her sister is actress Leigh Taylor-Young. She was previously married to producer/actor David Ladd. |
