In 1997, Tulsa, Oklahoma based Hanson burst on to the world music scene with their undeniable and universal hit album, Middle of Nowhere. They have since released a live album (Live from Albertane), a Christmas album (Snowed In), a collection of indie material (3 Car Garage) and their second critically acclaimed studio album This Time Around.

| Big venues are fun just because it is fun to be in front of a lot of people. Now playing in a smaller venue on the other hand is great for other reasons. When you are in a theater that holds five thousand, or two thousand, the sound is great and the show is better for the audience. I know that is how I feel performing and when I go to see other shows.
