Video Title: "Knight in retreat"
Description: "At bonnie's (patricia mcpherson) request, michael (david hasselhoff) goes undercover as a scientist to investigate the death of one of her former college professors. with ann turkel, randi brooks."
"What a great movie... love, romance, committment and unselfishness. Micheal you were just beautiful in everyway! Great story line and inspirational love story!"
"This story has been done to death! A potential disaster on a train, heroes and foes. A covert government plot. The usual same old same old. The acting is poor and the suspense is non existant. The outcome is predictable. I'm sorry I wasted my money buting this movie!"
"This is the long-awaited widescreen presentation of this fairly interesting disaster flick from the 70's. It's an entertaining thrill ride from start to finish with a terrific cast, and now we can see the glorious European scenery in all it's widescreen splendor. The only caviat here is that the film elements used for the transfer are still not quite up to snuff, a little gritty in spots, buti** still way better than any VHS version up until now."
"I am a huge fan of this movie and bought it on VHS a long time ago. Recently I purchased a used copy of the Simitar Edition of The Fear on ebay, when I started watching the first thing I noticed was that the transfer was horrible with pixilization very obvious and also artifacts throught the film were also very obvious, and then the biggest problem, it was censored. I don't mean just the nudity, all of the language, etc. was edited. So I then bought the A-Pix DVD, hopeing for a better DVD. Instead I found that it was the same exact dvd, only with a different logo on it. My advice is to buy the VHS edition. It actually has a better picture than the DVD and it is not edited. Hope I help you in your purchase."
