Frank Sinatra - A Man and His Music Part II - With Special Guest Nancy Sinatra
"It seems like this show was thrown together haphazardly at the last minute with little or no rehearsal.I may be wrong, but I think there was no audience. Frank's monologue in the beginning is met with a laugh track.The picture quality on the VHS is sub-standard; Sinatra's drummer, Irv Cottler, looks black!The skit with daughter is unmemorable. There is a good version of 'That's Life', better than the studio version, but Frank muffs it at the end of 'My Kind Of Town',If you're a Sinatra die-hard, then it's worth getting. For others looking for one of the better TV specials, stick to Vol 1 or 2."

"Some folks consider 'The Wild One' the first movie about outlaw bikers; it's not. 'The Wild One' is about 50s beatniks who happen to tool around on British bikes (except Lee Marvin, the best thing about the movie). If you want the real thing, Hells Angels on Harleys, then 'The Wild Angels' is the one. This is the movie that started the genre, so most of the cliches seen in subsequent drive in picture show biker features started here."

"Firstly I'll presume your a Sinatra fan or you would'nt be looking at this Dvd.Secondly I will further presume you hav'nt heard much about this film, maybe never even heard of it before, am I right......Well relax and get this film, its one of those rare films in which Sinatra showed all the disbelievers he could act. A gritty drama, probably better because it was shot in black and white and O.K, its not as good a quality print as some of todays films would be but this genuinely adds to the feel of the movie.As anyone who has seen the laserdisc will testify this is a very good watch and a must for all real Frank Sinatra fans."

"With king creole, love me tender and stay away joe - jailhouse rock 1957 is elvis presley at his best. He declined the old musical tradition of mgm and insisted on a contemparary look - especially how the choreography should be executed. in this film we see elvis presley at his very best. He was a stunning actor - much more prefer him to james dean... it`s a shame he made more or less 33 forgettable films.... Only a handful stands out and jailhouse rock is the best. it isn`t a classic - it isn`t even great. But we have elvis - the king - and that`s the best there is:-)))"
