"I am a die-hard s&tc fan. I absolutely love the show - and will definitely buy the 6th season disks - but come on!!! haven't we (s&tc fans) shelled out enough dough for this show. Not only do we have to pay just to watch the show, but we buy the merchandise as well. The fifth season was ok - but full price for an 8 episode season? and now they're breaking the 6th season in 2 releases and charging full price for both? hbo - thy greed runneth over - way over!"

"I'd put off buying season 5 because of the astronomical price (considering how many episodes you actually get). Now they expect you to pay the same price for half of season six!? I love the show, but they released all the other seasons in their entirety. HBO, you're way too money hungry for me. I'm already paying to subscribe...I can't afford to p*** my money into the wind on half a season! Disgraceful."

"growing up as a Walton I was always where johnboy or where waltons mountain. I have been a fan of the waltons for 22 years now and there not a week that doesnt go buy that i dont***ch atleast a episiode of the show and i have all of earl hamner books signed when he came to bowling green ky a few ago and i have the homecoming and spencermountain on viedo as well. but i woulnt want to have any other last name other than walton and i am proud to be a walton. "I became a fan of SATC very late in the series - actually, the last season. My husband hated it so - I could never find time to watch it without his running commentary. I have since purchased the entire series. So, just so you know (without giving anything away), I have kept the last two episodes (they were a two-parter) on *both* my Tivo DVR machines. And I'm not making this up, I watch parts of them at least once every two weeks. Call me a romantic, but this is some of my favorite TV of all time! And mind you, this was before I knew the entire story! The first time I saw the last episode, I started to cry towards the end and bawled my way thru the last 10 minutes. Loved every minute of it. I plan to purchase the final DVD in the series so I can finally delete them from tivo."
