"I stack this next to Nemo. Granted, I like other 'films' like Cars, Toy Story and Incredibles, However.... Surf's up took me and my three children (7,5,3) by surprise. I personally hated happy feet. Not sure what all the hype was about with that one. A big name cast and a lot of marketing was all that one had. This is fresh and completely captured my dream of what surfing and the whole idea of being free is all about. Also recommend 'Step into Liquid'. Bought that DVD (actual surfing documentary) after seeing this one because some day (Lord willing) we will be taking the kids to Hawaii or some exotic local... And all of us will learn how to surf."

"The last picture show is a perfect, if depressing, film about small-town texas life in the 1950s. the film combines some of the most intersting characters ever put on screen (masterfully created by writer larry mcmurtry) with an amazing film technique from director peter bogdanovich, with superb performances from such actors as jeff bridges, cybill shepherd, timothy bottoms, ben johnson, cloris leachman and several others. this film operates at many different levels, both figuratively and literally (observe the infinite depth-of-field sharpness to the black-and-white film, reminiscent of orson wells' citizen kane). it is truly one of the most important, and perfect, films ever made."

"When I got my HD-DVD player last year one of the titles I couldn't wait for was Big Lebowski. I hadn't seen it in several years and when I finally put it in the player, I was so glad I had waited. Not only is the picture and the sound excellent, but this is one of the greatest movies of all time. The writing is so good. The acting is fantastic (Jeff and John's best acting performances by far). The comedy is still funny after 11 viewings. I still giggle to myself anytime I think about the scene where Walter jumps out of the car 'To take the hill' and the machine gun is going off, while the Dude crashes into a telephone pole. Hilarious hilarious all the way through. Just remember not to spread human ashes on the beach when the wind is blowing. LOL LOL LOL"

"I gave this program 4 stars because it's one of the most enjoyable, suspenseful, strong plot series I have ever seen. I like it even better than Twilight Zone. The reason it lost a point is because of the poor video quality. It is grainy, it shakes and locks up briefly sometimes and simply does not do justice to the creative and exciting story telling. I recommend this set anyway. Look past the poor video quality and enjoy it. If you like the Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, and Hitchc***, you are sure to love this!"
