"Hi Bernie, I found your site after seeing a news clip of you resent hospitalization. Truely I wish you a speedy and peaceful recovery. What struck about the clip is that you have sarcoidosis,,,so does my mom. For the past 12 years she's been dealing with a pretty aggressive sarcoid. Starting with her lung which now is in remission, then to her liver, and now is manifesting through out her skin. on top of that complications from the prednison treatments has made her insulan dependent and now has to have an insulin pump. As you can imagin, watching , (and now liveing) her go through these changes has been a challenge. The main thing I wanted to say is that hearing that clip a 7am this morning, retriggared within me to get through and deal with this stage in our lives. Because you allowed that small personal detail about your life to come over the airwaved, my hope is renewed, and my refocus on a positive outlook is set. I don't know how severe you case was, but just know that another person, family has come throught the path we are, with strenght, and a great life, inspires me that we can do the same.
