Patrick Swayze has dance roots from his choreographer mother, Patsy Swayze, and an education including ballet school. His entry into performing came as a dancer in Disney on Parade.
Patrick's film debut was in "Skatetown, USA" (1979), but it wasn't until 8 years later that he received critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination for "Dirty Dancing" (1987). The 90s established him as a box office star with hits such as "Ghost" (1990) and "Point Break" ... |
