"Why won't someone put out a complete version of this movie on DVD or even VHS. It is a much better movie when complete and you almost never see it that way. TNT seems to be the only one who shows it that way and they almost never do so, TBS and TCM also show it but in various cut down versions. If the people who put these DVDs and VHSs out are so fond of the cut down version, why not release a two DVD set with the cut and complete versions on it so us werdos who like to watch complete movies can get our fix."

"I guess the first thing I should mention is that this movie is thirty years old. Today's graduate and professional schools including law school are more diverse than depicted in the film. Also, the John Houseman character is a bit over the top. I like his performance and maybe there are a few characters like him out there, but consider today's political and social climate on campuses. Would Kingsfield get tenure or high marks from his students with this kind of behavior? Possibly, but not highly likely."

"These are not very good movies. The first is funny, but Mike Myers falls into his own trap of repeating the same gag multiple times. He did it in Wayne's World 2, and he did it in both Austin Powers sequels. He even makes fun of himself my threatening us with them.Although there are mixed feelings about these movies, I'd say that if you do like them, get all of three. I admit, each does have their moments, but if you were to only get one, get the orginal one."
