"Hi Great page but a couple of things :) Alan Alda wasn't born in the Bronx. He was born in Shubert Alley which is between the Booth and Shubert Theatre in Broadway, which is why he always says he was born in New York, New York. Also he said that his father's birth name was Alphonso Roberto D'abruzzo - the Giovanni and Giuseppe were added later on in his career by the studio publicity department for some reason."
