"I first saw 'With a Song in my Heart' when I was 12 years old. I was so enthralled by Jane Froman's voice and her story that I saw the movie 14 times. The movie was my first introduction to the beautiful old standards such as Blue Moon, Tea for Two, Embraceable You, and I'll Walk Alone. I have been a fan of Jane Froman's since 1952 and have only had the opportunity to see the movie on a video that I recorded from the TV set. I look forward to the release of the movie on DVD so that I can enjoy a professional version of this inspiring movie."

"For those wondering, I can confirm that Hellfighters, War Wagon, and Rooster Cogburn are all presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen. That makes this collection a nice improvement over the previous non-anamorphic standalone versions of those DVDs. The other features (Reap the Wild Wind and The Spoilers) are in full-frame (1.33:1) format, which I believe was their original theatrical format. The five films come on three disks: 1. Reap the Wild Wind 2. The Spoilers and The War Wagon (both on side A) 3. Hellfighters (side A) and Rooster Cogburn (side B) The only extras are trailers**cept for Hellfighters) and some John Wayne trivia on the inside of the packaging."

"This movie starts just where the biblical blockbuster 'The Robe', ended. This is another film that showcases the fine acting talent of the late actor Victor Mature as Demetrius, a Christian gladiator who is hiding the robe of Christ from the evil and insane Roman emperor Caligula. The story is moving and entertaining even though some of the events presented here are historically inaccurate and/or misrepresented; the most notably being the eventual demise of Caligula."
