Aishwarya Rai, nicknamed Aishu or Ash, is a very popular Indian model and actress. She was born in Mumbai and speaks English, Hindi, Kannada and a bit of Tamil.
Aishu's first modelling assignment was in the 9th grade for Camelin Industries. She has since gained fame for her rare blue-green eyes and gone onto work for other companies such as Pamolive, Casio, Pepsi and Philips. Her awards include Best Actress for "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" (1999) and Miss World in 1994.... |
