"I didn't care if this stupid kid lived or died. I didn't care if anybody in this film died. This is a horrible movie. Half the time it didn't make a lick of sense. The 16 year old goes to a restaurant and they wont serve him beer. But wine is just fine. He could die at any moment, and his mother lets him go off to New York with his two moronic friends. What mother would do that? At least go with him! He could die at any moment! And what about his friend's parents? This movie is just so incoherent. And when this kid is told he doesn't have much longer to live, all his friends care about is 'Oh wow there's a hot girl in the room.' His friends are idiots. Why couldn't they have died? I REALLY hated this movie!"

"BABY'S DAY OUT is utterly ridiculous and preposterous, but*** also entertaining and has some real moments of hilarity. Joe Mantegna, Brian Haley and Joe Pantoliano are perfect as the modern three stooges who kidnap the baby of a wealthy family, but lose the baby and go on a rampage to rekidnap the tyke. With some fun special effects, improbable scenarios and slapstick humor, the movie is wildly entertaining. The scene where Joe Mantegna is trying to protect his private areas from the baby's lighter is priceless. Haley is especially funny as the big oaf and Lara Flynn Boyle, Cynthia Nixon and Matthew Gleve add fine support*** all mindless but*** so funny who cares??"

"Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts are the leads in this dark suspenseful thriller. It's about a law student (Roberts) who discovers a conspiracy behind the murder of a couple of Supreme Court justices. Then, not surprisingly, when the bad guys realize what she knows, her own life is endangered. She turns to an investigative reporter for help, and together they go on the lam as fugitives. It's not great, great, great, but the chemistry between Washington and Roberts, the fear factor of being in hiding, and a great supporting cast will keep you too involved to risk leaving to go nuke another bag of popcorn without pushing the pause button."
