Deep Blue Sea

"On the surface, Deep Blue Sea is a fair successor to Jaws. The action is intense enough to keep the viewer guessing, and it's abrupt enough to keep your eyes riveted to the screen. However, logic fails often along the way (for instance, when considering the ease with which the sharks navigate the shallow waters of the lab) and the deaths -- including the alleged shocker in the penultimate scene -- were fairly predictable. Worse yet, many of the computer-generated scenes of finny death were cartoon-like and therefore unconvincing. On the plus side, Saffron Burrows strips down to her undies. Deep Blue Sea is a fine way to pass an evening if you're looking for a surface-level thriller. Just don't expect much depth."

"I had great expectations of this movie. I had heard such wonderful things about the series of games of the same title, I expected a truly good movie. An engaging space opera about combat and the pilots engaged in it. Instead I lost $3.00 renting this. There is a 5-step method to watching this movie.1.) Rent it.2.) Place it in VCR3.) Watch it.4.) Stop convulsing from massive seizure caused by movie's moronic content.5.) Return movie and demand refund.Nuff said."

The Matchmaker

"Janeane Garofalo did a wonderful job in this. I even read that this was her favorite movie that she made. The chemistry between David O'Hara(sean) and Janeane Garofalo(marcy) was shocking. The humor also was side spliting. If you are not a romantic or a comedy kind of person you sould get it for just the location. It was actullaly filmed in Ireland. A place I now believe to be the most beautiful places. And if all this don't make you wont to buy this the music is also excellent. I just wish they had made a soundtrack. I have to say this is my favorite movie and I have seen my fair share of movies mabye more."
