Siren of the Tropics

"I loved Josephine Baker's role as Papatu. The film showed how beautiful and sexy Ms Baker really was. The film illustrated her excellent dance moves and a marquee talent as a leading star in the film Siren of the Tropics, she was a very decent comedic actress. I would recommend Siren of the Tropics to everyone!"

"Great little cult film about a movie within a movie(which you don't find out about until 20 minutes in-very cool). Both michael lerner(barton fink, safe men) and zelda rubinstein are effectively creepy in the movie that is being viewed by the theater which is taken hostage(sort of). My strongest suggestion for those who've seen the movie and are presenting it to their friends for the first time is to not tell them whati** about. Just say thati** better if they just watch and see."

"Where to start?Well, big fat Texan cop goes to Malta for no adaquetly explored reason. He then gets involved in some kind of 'mystery', spends about three weeks chasing around the back streets of Malta five feet from the bad guys. I agree with the guy above, bad movie. The extra stars go to Best Brains for the MST3K version of this movie that I saw."
