"Not only does this movie show quite a bit about our town, Las Vegas, buti** hilarious. We especially liked Randy Quaid and he just doesn't stop--every time he comes on the scene, it's a laughfest indeed. The story line is obvious: the Griswold family travels to fabulous Las Vegas. And while Clark (Chevy Chase) loses all his money, teenage Griswold Junior, equipped with a fake ID, takes Las Vegas by storm, winning cash and cars everywhere. Ellen Griswold (Beverly D'Angelo) becomes a 'Wayniac'--the nickname for Wayne Newton fans. Even the Hoover Dam tour and the Siegfried & Roy show turn into a wild adventure full of laughs. One thing is certain: you're going to crack up, and it's sure going to wet your appetite to visit fabulous Las Vegas in the near future."
"If you like 'The Breakfast Club', 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' 'Uncle Buck', or 'Home Alone' you have to check this movie out. Just as fun and funny as the others, just a touch more subtle. I've been waiting for this DVD release for 12 years!"
"Truly origional horror classic. I went into this not expecting much but it turned out to be totally great horror movie. I wont get into much i'll just stress 'SEE THIS!'"
"Witherspoon gives another strong, leading performance that proves she can make just about any movie look good. She stars as melanie, a new york fashion designer whose dream is about come true. She's proposed to by new york's most successful and eligable bachelor, who also happens to be the mayor's son. Before she can say for sure, she quickly travels back home to country-side alabama, to try and get a divorce out of her high-school sweetheart jake (josh lucas). The film was better than i expected. It was pretty funny and heartwarming, while reese gives a sweet performance in sweet home alabama. It's kind of a chick-flick, but proved high for a comedy on my standards. If you're in the mood for something light and funny, sweet and entertaining, 'alabama' is worth seeing."
"If you are a fan of the original empire records, don't buy the re-mixed fan version... It's a big dissappointment. there are added scenes in the movie, and some of the best lines are changed. example: when rex is leaving the store and says 'why don't you all just fade away.' yeah, he doesn't say that in this version. i was very dissappointed when i saw this, b/c die-hard empire fans don't want the best lines changed, so this really isn't a 'fan re-mix' b/c it changes stuff the fans love!!! definitely just buy the regular dvd or vhs version... It's much better as an original, not a re-mix!!!!"
