"This movie was one of the best movies I've seen this year. I was very much pleased with this one. Especially seeing Shemar breaking out of the Soap Opera's and into the movies, showing his true talent. This movie definitly will be coming home to me and taking a spot right along side my other favorite movies 'The Wood', and 'The Best Man'."

Reversible Errors

"This is a complex, riveting movie. All players turn in top-notch, believeable performances. One quibble: I would have liked it to have had a stronger sense of place; the anonymity of the locale was off-putting, but not enough to gig it a star. Still, it made for an entertaining evening."

"I saw only a portion of this movie one morning on my way to work, and couldn't stop thinking of it all day. Needless to say I couldn't find the movie because I didn't know the name until I asked someone about a movie with Shemar Moore, Vivica Fox, then at the time I didn't know the girls name from Girlfriends, the TV show, that's exactly how I said it to him, he automatically said 'Motives'. I went to walmart that night and found it and purchased it. I can say this with a smile on my face, I was surpised at the story line, and it kept my attention to the very end. Some things kind of gave you hints that everyone involved was doing something tricky, but I had no idea as to how it would end, I tell you this 'Simply Outstanding'"

"AN eye opener for any woman who doesn't understand the psyche of the modern man. Shemar is a beautiful black man, especially without his shirt. Imagine a story whose plot is centered around four of the most gorgeous men with a very practical theme .The movie provides insight into the hard exterior of a man and an understanding of the soft inside. This is the flip side to Waiting To Exhale only more realistic. It's nice to see movies depict black men as successful individuals with a lot to offer. Can't wait for the DVD. I must own this one!"

Reversible Errors

"I enjoyed this film. It's probably Tom Selleck's best role and Shamar Moore did his character justice as well. Once I saw the ending I replayed the entire DVD to go back and catch things the second time. Knowing what motivated the prinicpal characters made it even more enjoyable the second time through. This was a great film and it shows that a thriller can be great without the sex and extreme violence. "
