Slipper and the Rose

"Wow! I saw this movie in the theatre in the 1970's. I loved it then and I still love it today when I saw it for the first time in a long time, on my new dvd, the magic had not dimmed. Highly recommended, this musical retelling of Cinderella."

Slipper and the Rose

"In my opinion this is the best Cinderella story that there is. The characters are fantastic! With all their different personalities coming together, it really makes the story fun to watch. And the music is wonderful, the songs are beautiful and catchy but not cheesy. The story line has more of a twist, in that the dream doesn't come true right when the slipper fits. If you love fairy tales and whimsical romances, this is the perfect movie for you. "

The Thorn Birds Collector's Edition

"The Missing Years is awful. In the original, the kids appeared not knowing Father Ralph at all. But, in the Missing years, kids have met Father Ralph. In the original, at the end, Father Ralph said that he regreted that he did not choose Meggie. But, he did tell Meggie that he wanted to give up being a priest to be with her. So, there are many things that do not make sense. But, overall, it is a great love story. It touched my heart. I recommend it. "

"I remember back in the day when this book came out. we had to read it in college. it was huge and i thought oh no... Once i started reading this book, i couldn't put it down. i fell in love with the story, characters, landscape etc.once the mini series aired, i was skeptical. i was wrong... They made this movie exactly the way it should have been and stayed true to the perfect book by colleen mccullough.this movie will stand the test of times and has become an instant classic.no matter what age... (15 and up years old) you won't help but fall in love with the characters and this epic love story.anyone who is a true romantic will enjoy this movie over and over again.hands down a perfect 100% - 5 star movie (mini series) do not miss this one!"
