"Let me begin by saying terry o'quinn ('locke' on lost) is brilliant in both this film and it's sequel. the story, dialog and the fact that he's so nutty it's almost more funny than scary. and it's worth it just to see shelley hack get hit with a telephone. rent it for halloween, along with evil dead 2. get in the zone and chill..."
"To the reviewer who wrote 'it's worth watching just to see Shelley Hack get hit with a telephone'.... LOL!
This is an underappreciated and underseen horror gem from 1987. Low on budget, high on tension. A shrewd piece of acting by Terry O'Quinn. Director Joseph Ruben has made several good and a few great films, and this one ranks as his best, IMHO.
Can't believe with all the hoopla surrounding the TV show 'Lost' that this film with a 'Lost' star in it hasn't been rushed out on DVD. Legal/rights/ownership obstacles, perhaps? Well for goodness sakes smooth those obstacles out and deliver us this DVD. My VHS copy won't look good too much longer.

"Rare case of the sequel being way better than it even had the right to be. Christine Taylor is a very good actress and playing Marsha as she did was a true stroke of brilliance. I still laugh so hard. Also the 'trip' sequence with the mushrooms is so wild and inspired. If your into mind altering and like something to watch with it then buy this movie. Even non-Brady fans seem to like this."
"A Very Brady Sequel is a funny spoof of the shows premeired on television in the 70's. It features the bradys living in the 90's, but stuck in the 70's. Such as when a soliciter calls up offering the family cable service, Mr. Brady says: 'So, you're saying I can connect a wire to my TV and in will come 50 channels? I don't think so, good bye.' The main event of the movie is when Mrs. Brady's old husband comes back. Really, he is an imposter but the bradys do not notice. When he whisks Mrs. Brady off to Hawaii, Mr. Brady decides to teach him a lesson on kindness. This is a funny movie and good entertainment."
"In this movie Shelley Hack plays a blind woman named Erica who finds herself trapped in an Inn by some murderous armoured car robbers. Shelley has to use all of her resources to get through a very long night as she is persued by these thugs. This movie has a very unexpected ending which I did not see coming and is a very satifying thriller to watch. Besides that Shelley shows just what a good actreess she is and is great to watch onscreen."
"I love this movie, but this review is not about the movie itself. It is about the review 'Brody 'Brodyman' (Amity Island)' wrote. It was complete and utter bull that needs to be taken off this website. Brody himself needs to be removed as well, looking at many of his other reviews, which are quite gross, creepy, and uncalled for. So those of you who want to know the truth about this movie, I suggest you buy it because it really is hysterical. But obviously Brody was talking about his own family bunch, because none of what he said was true about this movie."
