American Pie - Unrated

"How funny? I was expecting a fairly run of the mill teen flick. All the folks that thought Theres Something About Mary was brilliant (of which I wasn't one) said how great it was, so I watched it as much out of curiosity - and I didn't stop laughing. It is hardly great film making and too be honest so much was predictable and toe curling, but it was such fun. With 1999 being year of the teen gross out movie it is AP that will be longest remembered and go down as a genre classic of it's time. Very silly, very dumb, but brilliantly crafted. It may well be base, and the moral minority may complain abouti**ex obsession, but it is really harmless fun. Remove your brain, get a big bag of popcorn and enjoy."

Road Trip

"I was very disappointed in this DVD. I purchased it with the idea that there would be some new footage in the unrated version that was not shown in the theatres, but I couldn't find anything that I hadn't seen before. Unlike American Pie, which had a very good unrated version, this one fails to be any different than the rated 'R' version shown with its theatrical release. While I enjoyed the movie originally, I wouldn't have bought this DVD knowing what I do now. If you're thinking of buying this in order to find something new and interesting, please save yourself the trouble and money and don't click that button."

"I was able to catch a preview screening for this movie the other day, and I have hardly laughed so hard in all my life! The plot is as follows:A giant meteor crashes into a cave in Arizona and two sceintists (David Duchovney and Orlando Jones) are called in to have a look at it. They manage to find, that alien creatures are quickly evolving from the meteorite and spreading out of the cave.I don't want to say to much more as not to wreck the story, so I'll just give you the bottom line. This movie is truly funny, espicially Orlando Jones' and Seann Scott's performances. I gurantee, you'll bust a gut."

"I would consider this movie a classic because it is frankly very realistic. My friends are very much like these characters and underneath all the gross-out gags is a great story any one can relate to. Highly recommended."

"I had been looking forward to seeing thie movie for a long time, so when it finally came out in video stores, I was the first in line to rent it. I was shocked. I was totally expecting to be laughing hysterically the entire time and being ashamed of what I was laughing at, but this movie turned out to be a wonderful coming of age story with a touching tale of first love. I actually cried. Young men will love this movie, young women will either love it or be totally offended by it, and older people will probably cringe with disgust if they ever see it. All qualities I enjoy in a good teen flick."
