"The DVD version forces the film into the widescreen 1:1.85 format. The original was almost certainly shot in 1:1.33, 1:1.66 at most. This has the effect of compressing the image and making everyone appears shorter. This is a VERY annoying feature.
Still, the movie itself is a cult masterpiece."
"I personally found season 2 to be excellent. So much happens and you get even more familiar with the crew. You see how the Maquis and Star Fleet work together more and more. Not to mention the arrival of Seska again with the Kazon. Just wait until you see Basics Part I where Voyager is stolen by the Kazon and the crew is stranded on a volotile planet. And to top it all off Voyager's best hope lies in a The Doctor, a murderer, and Tom Paris. There is so much to look forward to in season 2. And if this is your first time seeing it your in for the greatest ride fo your life. But wait it gets better hwne season 3 arrives :)"
"How people can write reviews for a DVD set that has not been released yet is beyond me. Morons, the purpose of these reviews is to let other people know whether this DVD set is worth getting. Hello, it hasnt been released yet!!I guess this is just more proof of how stupid people really are. Oh, how I long for the day when humans are extinct and animals rule the Earth!"
"This was a great movie. Scary and funny at the same time. If a person hasn't seen it yet then they need to watch it. I just wish they would get the movie out for some of us to buy it. "
"First saw this film on one of the movie cable channels in the late '80s and immediately fell in love with it. The movie is completely without pretense, and the cast members all turn in memorable performances. The movie is just fun, fun, fun, with a minimal amount of `Hollywood' gore but plenty of thrills. If you like your sci-fi a little more down to earth, you'll like 'Night Of The Comet.' Three thoughts in closing: 1) That's not Cyndi Lauper singing 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,' buti**ounds pretty close, 2) My favorite quote: `I'm not crazy, I just don't give a f---!' 3) I'd like the movie even if my initials weren't DMK--fans of the film will know what I'm talking about."
