Varsity Blues

"The movie is based on a 'piece' of everyone's life, in some small way, who have ever played football. Does it matter that hs kids get in a strip club and drink till 6:00am ? 'no' does it matter that hoss is sitting on a tailgate, drinking jack like its water ... And shooting a shotgun, with the hs football field lights on ? 'nooooo' !!!! it is 'rocky' + 'friday night lights' + 'rudy' + 'stand by me' = varisty blues. if you played football, or ever hung out with the guys after a game, or ever laughed at the guys who couldn't leave hs even after they graduated 9 years ago ... Then buy the movie, its worth it, and the soundtrack rocks !!!!"

Into the Blue

"I liked this movie. I am a Jessica Alba fan and mainly got it for that reason. The movie is kind of flaky in the sense that the storyline is not original nor is it necessarily a great story. It did have enough action and Jessica Alba to make it a good movie though. I would watch it again, though its not going to make my top 50 movies. Worth it for a bargain price. "

Gone in 60 Seconds

"This is a good old fashioned, down and dirty car movie. They haven't made a film like this in years! Faced-paced, in-your-face, this movie has it all. Cars, story, cars, action, cars, chaces, cars, laughs and cars. Eat my dust! Get this one! "

"There is mainly one reason to buy this movie, the action is so/so, the plot is grossly contrived, but the saving grace for this film is in the underwater camera work. By that I am referring exclusively to the way the cameraman follows Jessica Alba around from behind underwater as she swims. There is no nudity, there needs to be no nudity, this is simply a film about the hottest woman in known existences butti** super high def Jessica Alba, you'll be on the slow mo button half the film anyway so I doubt you'll notice an actual story."

Enemy of the State

"This is a great movie but don't waste your money on the dvd version until touchstone releases a new version of it! i purchased this dvd from two different stores and they both have defects during playback like the following: skips part of the movie in the middle, (of course it's an important part-so that kinda ruins the movie). there is also a problem with the way the scene titles appear, at one point they appeared in french even though english was selected!"

Lonely Hearts

"The focus of this movie is on the detectives, rather than the Lonely Hearts killers, and therefore Gandolfini and Travolta got what little of the critical notice there was. And they are indeed wonderful, and deserving of praise. But Salma Hayek and Jared Leto also turn in fabulous performances as the dysfunctional couple who prey off of, and ultimately kill, the women who fall for their scam. This movie isn't necessarily easy to watch, buti** mesmerizing. Well worth your time."
