"Dmx you are my role model.thats the reason why my homies call me next dmx i emulate your style when im listening your music, listening your prayers and even watching your movies."
"I thoroughly enjoyed this dvd. I remember those battles between Moe Dee & Busy Bee, KRS & Shan, Moe Dee & LL (gets no better), LL & Ice T. Those were the days. Nothing compares to 1980's hip hop (the heyday). It's not even hip hop now, it's just rap music. Anyway, the 50 / Ja Rule segment was the highlight for me. I loved 50's comments towards Ja Rule and all of Murder Inc. Ja Rule looked like a su**A! All of those cats looked foolish. I really wish they had given some in depth details on LL's beefs. Back then he was young and co**y and would go syllable to syllable with anybody. Those records are classics. I've watched this dvd many times and I still enjoy it just like the first time. I can't wait for part 2."
"I don't care if the movie did bad in the theaters. That just means the quicker it goes to dvd. I am not probably going to order it i'll go buy it because i live right by a video store. I recommend watching this movie. I read the book and liked it but with x in the movie it was even cooler then the book. And screw the amazon editor he ain't a bad actor (amazon just lost a sale here!!!). And stop saying that x should quit. He is the best rapper ever."
"Great film! Jet Li & Russell Wong? How could you get better? Oh! By adding Aaliya, that's how! Fantastic action sequences and story line. A must see."
"I thought it was gonna be much better but it wasn't. It was an average documentary which i'm glad i didn't spend any money on. Most beef's are old news but there are a few cool moments like when nate dogg beats down haters at a golf-course: funny as hell.but overall: nothing special."
"This dvd was hot. But I wished they would have gone into more depth about the more talked about battles like how they did with KRS and Shan, or they could have at least played more of their tracks. They should of stayed talking about the maintstream rappers and leave all those underground cats like that TRU LIFE dude out of it. They probably took up half the dvd. I was like,'I don't know you so why you even talking?' I seen the soundtrack and that whack as* dvd full of 'extras' on it. It was just more of that Tru Life dude tellin his side and Tech N9ne talkin some nonsense. But anyways, but they could of done better."
"I went into the movie with low expectations - just wanted tokill 2 hours plus see some martial arts (Jet Li number one!). I waspleasently surprised! I saw critics panning the story and complaining how complex the plot was. I liked the story and could follow the plot easily. It had a good story line and great martial arts action! Some of the editing of the fights was too much. Better to just let Jet do his thing and film it. The fighting scene with the fire hose was the best!If you like gang/mob wars/martial arts go and see the movie. You won't be disappointed! Good music too!"
