Survivor - The Complete First Season

"Survivor truly is the greatest of the 'reality' shows out there, and this DVD is the perfect way to commemorate that. It is a great season, with great characters, and truly one can see how the entire craze started off because of this phenominal show. It has excitement, treachery, and great production values, and is a staple of American culture.It truly is one of the few gems left in relaity TV, where everyone is trying to match the greatness and success of survivor, and failing miserably.This show is no one hit wonder like Joe Millionaire or the Apprentice, it is around to stay, and all the seasons have been great and I cannot wait to see them with more extras when they are released on DVD as well! Buy this DVD, you will not regret it, I guarantee it!"

"The Animal gets 4 stars from me just for making me laugh, out loud, with all the rest of the audience in the theater. And besides, who doesn't think Colleen Haskell is just too cute not to be on the big screen? I'm not someone who typically goes in for Jim Carey or Adam Sandler slapstick, Animal House fart-joke humor, but this one got to me. Its funny. Check it out. Rob's dolpin act and goat seducing scenes are utterly hilarious. I'm sure I'll buy this one on DVD when it comes out."

"this was, by far, one of the funniest movies i have seen this month. i dont know crazy, but i sure do know comedy. the acting in this one was quite breath-taking. rob schneider's ability to portray a dolphin was quite exhilirating. Flipper watch out. your job is in jeopardy. Colleen was very good in it too. i expect big things for her. can someone say, 'Joe Dirt 2'? Overall, i'd say this has been rob's best work since 'Surf Ninjas.' 'The Animal' is a must-see. If you dont see it, u will be missing out on a great American achievement in filmography."

"All that matters is that Colleen Haskell is in this movie. She's the reason it gets five stars as she proves a 'normal' person who is self-effacing and modest can become a star without even trying. The movie may tank but Haskell's career should only continue to rise as she is a natural talent and screen presence. Kudos to Colleen for a job well done!"

Survivor - The Complete First Season

"I taped the first season on vhs years ago and bought the season 1 'greatest moments' which was a disappointment when we were hoping to see more of the 12 episodes. Now we can watch them all again, our favorite, the first. I remember watching the first time eating bugs in the immunity challenge and we were all eating dinner while watching the episode and gagged!! Now after Fear Factor, those grubs are NOTHING and we laugh at how we were so disgusted and mortified with the grub eating. ha ha ha Grubs are candy compared to what's been shown in subsequent Survivors! Can't wait until the rest of the season are on dvd too!"
