"Lead Actress Almen Wong turns Clarence Fords average girls and guns flick into a thoughtful drama. The romance part was a bit sappy but the movie was stylish and sexy. Almen has to go through a wide variety of emotions throughout the film and has the attitude and the right personality to become the master assassin Cat."

"I rented this film immediatley after seeing the first Bride with White Hair hoping for a fluid and entrancing continuation of the story. There was a perfect setup for a sequel and I couldn't wait to watch it unfold. After the first half an hour I knew that director Ronnie Yu had abandoned the feel of the first film and it seemed he didn't really give a damn about how interesting the story was. Poor dialogue, inadequate story, there was nothing satisfying or even interesting in this film. If you enjoyed the first BWWH you'll probably still be tempted to watch this movie just make sure you rent it before buying."

"The discovery of a dead body leads cop Lau Ching-Wan to believe Francis Ng is going to attempt a major theft. Director Ringo Lam is on solid, familiar ground here with this police procedural/character analysis. Lau is his usual excellent self while Ng is more reserved (though he still is simmering beneath the surface). Lam somehow manages to show the similarities between the cop and the thief without violating the integrity of the cop or making a hero of a crook. Recommended."

"OK, Hong Kong movies are not known for their subtlety and plot, but this jumped the shark. Characterisation was poor, even for a Hong Kong flick. Supposedly important characters would vanish for half of the film, only turning up to betray the lead character before getting shot. The plot was missing presumed dead and the developement was so garbled, I gave up. You can find decent Hong Kong flicks, but not here."

"This is a great movie and well done. The only bad thing here is that, Part 2 was suppose to come out before part 1. Becuz after watching part 1, you get the feeling you want to watch part 2 with hopes of the characters continuing just like that.. Trust me, this is one of the great movies ever, watch 2 first, you would be craving to watch part 1.. And there ya go, you would watch it over again.. Well Done.."
