Hackers

"This movie is really bad. I am in no way a hacker or know anything about hacking but I can tell you that this movie was way off. Hackers are not cool, sociable kids who go to raves and casually go to their computers and 'hack'. Hackers are geeks who stay inside all the time and do nothing but use their computers, and their only friends are over the internet. And when you hack you don't get these wonderful graphics and animations it's all text and really boring. I don't understand how people can say that this is accurate it's only a farce made to make hacking seem cool and trendy. I'm surprised that people actually believe that that's what hacking is really like it's outrageus!"

Dracula 2000

"The only reason I got this movie was because Gerard Butler was in it, but , as someone else mentioned, it actually is surprisingly good. Gerard Butler is absolutely magnetic and seductive in this film.He's not even shown on the jacket, but, before the film even was finished, he became considered 'lead' actor due to his completely mesmerizing performance. It was this film that got him chosen to play the lead in 'Phantom of the Opera'Movie better than the great play (which has abeen playing non-stop since 1986 by the way- making over $6 billion worldwide. See 'Dracula' even if only to see Butler."

"The main problem with this movie is that it makes the mistake in thinking that everyone is familiar with the series or story. I didn't know that this movie was a live version of an animated series until after I saw the movie. For me personally, it took too long to explain what the heck was going on. Who was who and what was what. When Trevor explains about some disease that left the world sterile and the whole cloning thing, I was like oh, okay...buti**till didn't explain who the heck was the redhead speaking in everyone's ear and dispatching orders. It's definitely not Catwoman 2, but I still feel that there are some vital pieces of this story on the cutting room floor. So it was good, but not good. Go figure."

The Flying Scotsman

"I am a cyclist and have been hearing about Graeme Obree for years. I am in awe of his physical accomplishments and understanding and sympathetic to his manic-depressive illness, as I have several family members who also suffer from this terrrible disease. I read the book The Flying Scotsman and loved it. I then eagerly looked forward to the movie for months. It was awful. One of the worst movies that I have ever seen and it is such a shame, as Graeme Obree is truly a remarkable man."

"I just got back from a trip to Scotland--my first visit--and saw this film on the plane (Virgin Atlantic). Fabulous movie! I'm not Scots or a bicycler, but just loved it--beautifully filmed, wonderful acting, a great movie experience. I can't wait to get the DVD and watch it again with my family. Unfortunately I saw it on a small screen on the plane, but it was still terrific. The original soundtrack was also excellent. It was especially nice watching this on a trip to Glasgow, where it was filmed. Highly recommended for the cinematography, great acting, sensitive portrayal of Obree's depression, and the personal relationships that help him to succeed. Suitable for kids over about 8 or 10 in my opinion, one little bit with bad language (the f* word, said once). Very original film."
