"I've been waiting for this DVD for a long time and it was worth the wait. Chuck Norris is at it again, defending the free world and bringing down the bad guys. If you like the average action movie, you'll love this as it is an outstanding example of the genre.MGM Gave this movie a pretty good transfer treatment, a fully anamorphic widescreen transfer with actual surround sound. Not bad for a 16 year old film that wasn't a blockbuster. Not much in the extras department, but digging up a widescreen trailer for the film is better than the nothing that they've given with some films. All in all a good, satisfying Chuck Norris movie and a great value DVD purchase."
"This movie is incredible. It is what defines us as human beings. The drama which takes place between Chuck Norris and the villains is a mirror image of the real worlds struggle for peace and unity. Chuck's acting is superb, and had he changed his facial expression even once I would not say this, but Chuck Norris may well be the greatest actor who has ever lived. I am at a loss for words at the beauty of what takes place within the all too short 110 minutes of this epic motion picture. The only comparable media i can think of with which to give you an idea of the greatness of this film is the Holy Bible. Do yourself a favor and purchase this testament to mankind. It WILL change your life."
"Karate master Chuck Norris is at his butt-kicking best here as the sheriff of a small Texas town being menaced by a zombie-like maniac killer who's been brought back from the dead by a mad scientist. This is a pretty good action flick with a nice horror flavor. This DVD has good sound and image quality, but is lacking in bonus features. It has trailers for three other movies, and that's it! But I still recommend it (after all, you can zoom in on those tattoos!) to all Chuck Norris fans, and all martial-arts fans in gemeral."
"Chuck norris's walker texas ranger borrow a lot from his film lone wolf mcquad. Created for television and for norris himself. This was like mini movies for norris
the idea of norris in the mold of a martal arts /john wayne style lawman works. Norris, as steve mcqueen taught him, does not say much, let the action do the talking is showcased here in first season of walker.
so is the box set worth it? yes-great tv without the commerials. However there are no extras-someone should interviews, audio commentary and the behind the scene stuff these dvd are known for would be nice. I woulds have like even a tribute to noble willingham) who died of cancer after the last walker episode aired
when is season two coming?

"Before walker, texas ranger, there was lone wolf mcquade, and it's norris' best kick-butt film. Texas ranger mcquade must find his kidnapped daughter and falls in love with beautiful barbara carrera. (their lovemaking scene in the mud with the garden hose is great). Hard to believe that a crippled dwarf can make a convincing villain, but this little dude is as nasty as they come. Beltran in an early role is equally tough as mcquade's sidekick, and the scene where mcquade is buried alive is an unforgettable classic. 'get me a beer, kid.' and sit back and enjoy this one over and over."
"A good film... A good film with chuck norris. It's completly epic and god bless the kung fu guy for being in iti** a duel that was made in b-grade heaven. There's so much juicy material in this; a baptism of beer, a midget in a wheelchair, killer ennio morricone wannabe soundtrack... Oh baby... This movie is an ultimate date classic. Must see on every level.
watch it for... Just watch it."
