Being Mick: You Would if You Could

"I watched 'Being Mick' on Thanksgiving Night. Needless to say, it was the highlight of my holiday weekend. I am an avid Mick Jagger fan and collector. It was great to see the 'real' Mick, at home, playing with his kids, and in his recording studio. Most of my other videotapes are at concert venues. It was nice to see him at home and just 'being Mick'. I would like to see more of this type of thing. I do enjoy the concerts, but it is nice to see documentary type coverage. I am glad he did something like this to show the 'new kids' that the mature rockers still have it. --tg"

"I bought this DVD just for the Silverchair performance of 'Tomorrow'. The only other one I really enjoyed was STP's 'Pretty Penny'. I don't care too much for Blink 182, the Vines performance was horrid, and while it was good, I don't see why Pink was included on the disc. It gets 4 stars just for having Silverchair......"

Where Are We Runnin'?

"This DVD has the uncut version of Where Are We Runnin'. In it, you have scenes of nudity (including Lenny's behind) and drug use, but is done to show the result of excess in one's life (whether it's sex or drugs). It is done well and makes it's point. Another point is that this video is hardly shown on TV, and when it is, it's always cut short. Here you get it in it's entirety. Other than the video, there's a ten-minute behind-the-scenes look at the making of Baptism. Here you hear how Lenny came up with the songs and his drive for perfection. A short, but well-shot look behind-the-scenes. Definitely worth a look."
