Randy Newman - Live at the Odeon

"I really enjoy Randy Newmans songs. I grabbed this DVD when I saw it on the shelf, I had to have it. Imagine my dissapointment when I listened to it. The background hiss is absolutely terrible. I know technology was not as good back in 1983 but come on! With the way technology is today, and the remastering of older recordings being what it is, whoever produced the sound for this disc should be ashamed. I am using the Bose Lifestyle 35 system to play it on and it sounds like ... Other than the bad sound the disc is great (good selection of songs). Maybe they should Remaster it and send new copies to all who bought this copy."

Good Times Again

"This is a fabulous hour well spent enjoying some terrific songs and performances and Glen (in current day interviews) intros many of the songs. The other reviewer moaned about what ISN'T on this DVD....but frankly..for $15 I feel I got a LOT more than my monies worth and I will watch this over and over....goodness. Glen could sure play guitar and his guests? The Ricky Nelson clip alone is wonderful...and that leaves Ray Charles, Willie Nelson , Roger Miller, Ann Murray, Cher, Linda Ronstadt, The Smothers Brothers, BJ Thomas, Johnny Cash and lets not forget the late great writer of 'Gentle On My Mind' John Hartford....doesn't sound like much to complain about...and I'm not....this is wonderful."

Sesame Street - Fiesta!

"Great music, and an easy way for kids (and adults) to learn Spanish. We are raising our 16 month old son to be bilingual, and this is his favorite video. Elmo and Rosita and all the upbeat music and bright colors keep his interest. It is just the right length, too."

Celtic Woman Presents Chloe: Walking in the Air

"This DVD is a real treat for any Chloe fan. Chloe's singing is soft and dreamy, and her expressions and gestures natural. Her overal performance is unaffected and sincere. Filmed at various locations in Ireland, Chloe seems more Irish than I ever saw her in the sunlight, her cheeks rosy and her face shiny. Somehow she seems more Irish in these settings than in her studio photographs. The camera men could have been more imaginative, and some of Chloe's outfits looked too casual, however. I have Frank Patterson's Songs of Inspiration video, which was also filmed in Ireland, and I can't help comparing the filming of it with that of Walking in the Air. There's a lot to love anyway, though. I pop this in to watch a few songs almost every day, as it really inspires me. Great job Chloe!"

Randy Newman - Live at the Odeon

"... Anytime you can find Randy Newman on a DVD........AND you get Ry Cooder to join you.........You've got to buy it. The playing is great great great. The sound [is terrible]! 5.1 channels of loud air. Bad background noise; but if you love the music.........you gotta buy it."

Sesame Street - Fiesta!

"This video is fun to watch. My 13m really enjoys it. However, my purpose was to expose him to Spanish. Unfortunately, this video is about 90% Engish and 10% Spanish; so I was disappointed."
