Me and Will

"For those old enough to have experienced Easyrider (1969), Me and Will holds no new vibes. However, that does not qualify this movie negatively. Admittedly interwoven with Easyrider, Me and Will provides good entertainment for a far bigger audience than motorbike-adepts. Its logic and appealing story refers to freedom and escape from daily routines. Its shots are fine, in particular those from the American countryside. For the fans of Traci Lords: she has a tiny role as a waitress, and does well."

"A riveting and hilarious black comedy, this is John Waters very best mainstream film. Waters is a brilliant satirist who always walks on the wild side. Kathleen Turner is terrific in the title role. She sinks her teeth in the morbid character with perfect glee. The supporting cast is also great, especially Mink Stole who finally gets the full exposure she deserves. She proves once again why she's perhaps the most versatile and talented member of the Waters repetoir of actors. The movie is crude and hysterical and in my opinion the best black comedy in years!"

Not of This Earth

"Remake of a 1957 Roger Corman quickie. About an alien vampire coming to Earth to collect blood for the dying people of his planet. I dont know if this is horror or comedy {which could work together but does not} The only good thing about this movie is Traci Lords always nice to see her.... I wish I had spent my money on something else."

"This movie is dealing with a pop-icons comeback and if she can do it. It's also about a daughters revenge and dealing with her m others suecide. Thriller and a good movie"

Me and Will

"As motorcycle movies go, this one is okay. There were a couple items I thought distracted from the plot and weakened the climax of a movie that had potential. The in-your-face drug use was excessive and the fact that every character was either a junky or a wife beater was just too cliched. And the climax of finding the Easy Rider bike is so lame, it voided the complete plot of the movie. And why can't a motorcycle movie be shot at a location where the rocky mountains isn't a constant backdrop? How about making a move about the Dragon's Tail in North Carolina or Route 66 or anywhere but California? If you can find the CD used and you're a motorcycle die-hard like me, it's worth it."

Virtuosity

"Virtuosity isn't a brilliant movie, but it is at least somewhat innovative and entertaining from end to end. More than can be said for similar fare like 'Hackers' or 'The Net.' Denzel Washington, as always, is a very good actor, and Kelly Lynch is competent if flaky, but the movie is stolen by Russell Crowe's psychotic performance as Sid 6.7. His antics make Virtuosity worth watching, especially the Saturday Night Fever reference."
